If you have been arrested for a DUI, there are some very strict timelines in place. You have 10 DAYS from the time of your arrest to request a hearing with the Department of Motor Vehicles. You were issued a temporary license by the arresting officer. If you do not request this DMV hearing, you will lose that license too. There are many defenses to this action to suspend your license, but if you do not act fast, you forfeit your right to defend your right to drive.
